Description

The P8A is a pre-loaded active 8″ bass tube from the awesome Play series. This bass tube is particularly suitable for placement under a glove compartment, where it gets you a really nice dB boost. It works especially well in work vehicles or other vehicles with limited space where you don’t want to compromise on bass!

The round shape of the enclosure makes the P8A very stable and free from resonance. We’ve has chosen to cover the enclosure with fabric and embroider the cool Bass Habit logo on both sides. The compact and round shape makes it particularly suitable for placing under the glove compartment in certain vehicled or in places where a regular subwoofer enclosure won’t fit. The woofer has a polypropylene cone and rubber suspension, which contributes to a musical and responsive bass reproduction. The woofer itself is protected by a stylish fine mesh grille.

P8A is active, which means no amplifier is needed. Just plug it in and start playing! We’ve also equipped it with a high-level input (with an autostart function). The built-in amplifier can be adjusted via the adjustable low-pass filter (40-250 Hz, 12 dB slope) and the Bass EQ function at 45 Hz, which can be adjusted from 0 to +18dB.

A convenient bass remote is included. This control allows you to adjust the level from zero to maximum gain on the amplifier. Pull out the cable and mount the bass level remote so that the volume level can be adjusted at arm’s length. Perfect if the bass level needs to be adjusted when your favorite song starts playing.
