Description
The PL212A is what happens when you want fat bass without the hassle. Two 12-inch subs in a ported box with a built-in Class A/B amp. No separate gear, no complex wiring. Just hook it up, dial it in, and let it slam.
The enclosure is a tidy and compact 66 liters, with a slot port tuned to 42 Hz for bass that suits most music without sacrificing output. That means tight bass that fits most music, from heavy drops to kick-heavy rock. And thanks to the side-mounted port, it takes up less space than you’d expect from a dual 12 setup.
Each sub is 4 Ohms, wired down to a 2 Ohm load to match the built-in amp. You get 250W RMS of clean power and solid control. This thing hits hard without getting sloppy. Want control? You’ve got it. Low-pass filter from 40 to 120 Hz, phase adjustment (0/180), and up to 12 dB of bass boost at 45 Hz. Enough to shape the low-end just the way you like it.
Hook it up via RCA or high-level. If you’re using speaker-level inputs, the auto-on feature means it fires up with your head unit without worrying about a remote turn-on. Easy. A 30A fuse keeps things safe, and it’s all built into a vented box that weighs under 19 kilos. Stuff this box in your trunk, hook it up and you’re all set.
